Like I said, I wasn't upset or trying to get out of it, so I accepted. It took several months to iron out the kinks and start working down the list of projects and issues we came up with. We've been busy! But I absolutely ADORE my Presidency! The four of us work so well together. I feel the Lord's influence in our meetings and decisions. Primary is running smoothly on Sundays, and I feel so blessed to be a part of it right now! I am grateful that Bishop Baldwin followed the prompting of the Spirit to put me here at this time!
Meg is my first counselor. She is pretty much the president for her ward, since we are a combined Primary. She has had to deal with some tough issues from her ward and has handled them with grace and patience. I appreciate her so much. She is so easy and fun to work with. Her Sharing Times are always so well-planned, and she has a way with the kids. They all love her! And she created the CUTEST birthday and Christmas gifts for the children and teachers.
Emma is the newest member of our Presidency. I know she was intimidated by this calling, but she has risen to the occasion beautifully! She asks questions and is eager to help and learn. I appreciate that so much about her! I need to be more teachable like that. And she's fun to be around! We like to laugh! (And I want her hair!)
Nicol is probably the world's BEST Primary secretary ever. I'm not kidding. She is so organized and on top of things. She keeps our binders and schedules and lists updated. If someone moves in, she has their information down before I can blink an eye. She's always about 20 steps ahead of me. She carries a lot of weight with all of her different duties, but I have honestly never seen anyone run such an orderly ship!
Erica is our chorister, and she is fantastic! I have had that calling, and I can confidently say that it is one of the most exhausting callings in the entire Church! Erica works so hard! We appreciate her so much! She carries SO much our Sunday meetings on her shoulders, and she does such a good job! She is fun and always has great ideas to keep the kids happy and interested. I can't praise her enough for her service!
Honestly, I don't really feel like I do much. These girls, the awesome pianists and the amazing Primary teachers serve and do their callings without fail every single week. I feel like all I have to do is sit back and ENJOY the children! And I do! I LOVE LOVE LOVE our Primary children. I love teaching them and watching their faces and hearing them sing and ask questions. The Spirit is so strong every single Sunday. These children are so loved by their Savior.

Our bulletin board for the year. We are pretty proud of this! Each week, we will spotlight a child, and then they get to put their little person on the path to the temple. Nicol had these amazing old photos of her ancestors that she copied for the family tree. It turned out so cute!
