We woke up to SNOW. Cam came into my room and woke me up by saying, "Mom, it's snowing." I turned over and said, "No it's not." Nate smiled and said, "Uh...yeah it is." It snowed all morning. I passed the time by baking bread, scrubbing the bathroom, and trying to convince Nate that the Series Finale of LOST last night was good. I mean, he thought it was good....but he just wanted more answers. More closure. I got my closure. I'm happy with how it all ended. I'm just sad it's over. It has completely ruled our lives since we started Season One in January. I can't imagine how people must feel who have been watching it for six whole years!
Wow, it was such an awesome show. What are we going to obsess over and anticipate now? Oh well....atleast I have my own "personal Jack". Last week Nate asked me how he should cut his hair, so I told him like Jack from LOST....so he did....oh yeah. haha!! Just kidding
....(kind of). Now, if I could somehow make myself as gorgeous as Kate....we'd be set. Oh how I love Jack & Kate. I'm such a hopeless romantic...I need a good slap back into reality!!
Anyway, this afternoon the sun finally broke through and warmed everything up a bit. I decided to walk the kids over to the Corner Bakery because they were driving me crazy in the house all morning. I got some of their enormous, to-die-for M&M cookies, and I sat down with my babies to watch them stuff their cute faces with chocolate gooey goodness. Right when we sat down,
THIS song came on over the sound system. Cameron's eyes lit up (as did mine), and he goes, "Mom, it's John Mayer!" We rocked out, just the 3 of us, in our own little world.... Cam sang right along and even busted out the Na-Na part (hear it at 5:02). My favorite part too, Cam. Such an amazing performance. His Live in LA concert must have been so so awesome to be at. I've had this video on replay all evening. Okay...needing that reality slap again...
A few days ago, we were in the car, and I put on Maroon 5. I could see Cameron sort of dancing along in the back, but then he got a confused look on his face...he stopped and said, "Hey Mom, is this John Mayer?" I said no. He thought for a second and said, "Well...I like this...but I like John Mayer better." Haha, that's my boy! I told Nate that by next summer, we aren't going to be able to get away with going to JM concerts without our son. We haven't told him about the one in August because he'll probably beg to go with us....and as much as I love this kid...I'm not forking over that much cash for a 4 yr old to go to a concert. I'll take him to the next one though....for sure.
