We missed Season 8 when it was on Fox last year. So we patiently waited, and it finally came out on our Netflix instant queue. And WE CAN'T STOP! One of my favorite hobbies that Nate and I have together is getting hooked on a show that's on dvd or netflix (like Lost), and then we completely let it run our lives until it's over. It's miserable and wonderful at the same time!! Last night we stayed up until 2:30 am because we couldn't stop!! We'll finish it tonight, and then sit around sad cuz we watched it too fast!! 24 is definitely our all-time favorite show. Back when Cameron was a newborn, we started with Season 1 and ended up watching up to Season 5 in just a matter of months until we caught up. If you don't know, 24 takes place in "real time"...meaning each season is 24 episodes. Each episode covers one hour, so the entire season is one whole day. Jack Bauer is definitely the best fictional character EVER....don't mess with Jack.
And one more thing I Love....my friends!! You!! Thank you for your encouraging words over the past 2 days. I promise I have already been reading your comments over and over...they instantly lifted my spirits and were exactly what I needed to hear. Thanks for being there for me.

I dated a guy who was hooked on 24 and they used to bet at what time it would be when the commercial ended. I never got into it but it seems to have had quite the following!
Next on your list: NCIS and Modern Family.
Jer and I watched the first episode, but that was it. Maybe we should give it another go . . .
I could see how 24 wouldn't be for everyone...but Nate and I LOVE intense shows where the plot thickens every 5 minutes!! This is why we loved LOST so much too!
Absolutely, hands down, the BEST series ever. Darren went to Frenchies(a second-hand clothing store) one day and found a t-shirt that read, "If you woke up this morning, it's because Jack Bauer spared your life". It cracks me up everytime I see it.
I've never gotten into 24 but my parents did. They took maybe three days to watch it? They would stay up until two or three in the morning watching it, and then they'd have to get up in the morning for work and stuff. They were crazy! It's fun to have shows to watch. Robert and I loved the Robin Hood series from the BBC, it's on instant netflix too! Anyway, happy watching!
