One of the happiest days of my life.
5 years ago today.
Little Facts about our Wedding Day:
~We got married on a Thursday.
~Nate forgot our marriage license....scared me to death, but it only set us back about half an hour, thanks Missy!! :)
~We served peppermint ice cream and brownies at our reception.
~I rented my gorgeous dress for $200....including alterations & cleaning. Can't beat it.....
~I had 2 tulip bouquets....my ONLY request. I didn't really care about the rest of the wedding details. I just wanted tulips!! Hard to find in February, but my awesome florist delivered!!
~My friend from Oregon, Carol Milar, made my veil. She also made the veils of several of my childhood friends I grew up with. So sweet of her, and a fun thing for us all have in common!
~My sister Michelle and my neice Wesley drove from Oregon the night before my wedding and surprised me by knocking on my parent's door. Best wedding gift EVER to have all of my siblings there.
~My sister & my sister-in-law were both 8 months pregnant at my wedding.
~My oldest brother got married 5 days before me. Sorry, mom!! Stressful week for her!!
~I didn't have bridesmaids.
~My best friend Laycee was in the front row at the temple. When we hugged everybody after the ceremony, she was the one who made the tears flow....out of everyone!! She passed away exactly 1 year later. I miss her.
~Nate drove really, really fast to our honeymoon B&B. Haha!
Comfy shoes.....no heels for this bride!!

You're keeping up with us with number of houses/apartments. :) We're in our 9th. Happy Anniversary. I'm sad I moved away right before you got married. I feel like I've missed out on the last 5 years. Thank goodness for blogs and facebook now.
