Every night before I go to bed, I kiss the kids goodnight. More often than not, they are in funny/cute sleeping positions. Here's Roo...just hangin' around:
And sometimes, Cam is sooo exhausted, he falls asleep like this:
Anyway, I baked bread yesterday....I was nervous, but it was smooth sailing. This recipe makes 12 small loaves, and we eat about 1 loaf per day. So it looks like I'll be baking about every 10 days or so (I usually give a few loaves away, love knocking on my friend's doors with steaming bread for them!). Three times a month doesn't seem too daunting!
Freshly-ground wheat flour
Ready to mix
Ready to form loaves & let rise
Ready to EAT!
I told Cam to take a few loaves over to Logan's mom, which he gladly did. I watched from the window, he's a good delivery boy.
We went to the Discovery Gateway yesterday. I hadn't taken the kids in awhile, and it was so fun to watch Allie. She's definitely old enough now to get into it. She loved playing with the balls and at the little grocery store. Afterwards, we headed to West Jordan for a BBQ with some great friends. Nate met Brian when they both played trumpet in the WJ symphony, and I love hanging out with Tamie. They have a HUGE home theater in their basement, and I think Nate could have stayed all night playing video games!
