Family Dinner

First off, I have to thank Missy for my new blog header.  All I said was "I want something fun and Spring-y".  This is what she came up with...I love how she used an old picture of Cameron.  Such a cute idea!  It makes me smile everytime I open my blog.  Please visit her over at Lily Puff.  She can do custom blog designs as well.

Speaking of Missy....I just really love Nate's family.  They are so much fun to be around.  They make me laugh, and I love how often they get together and how important family is to them.  During my 'dating years', I always wondered what kind of family I would marry into.  I definitely got lucky!  Nate has 3 gorgeous, hilarious, sweet sisters.  And his parents are two of the kindest people you'll ever meet.  They make me laugh too....it's definitely easy to tell where Nate got his quirky sense of humor from!  They also love to shower their grandkids with love and gifts.  Family means everything to them, and I hope to learn and follow their example.

Yesterday was such a loooong day, but so so fun.  We left at 7:30 and went down to Provo for Kasie & Jer's baby blessing.  Kasie is Nate's cousin.  Beautiful little Kaiah was blessed.  She's a gorgeous baby girl, and I loved having her fall asleep in my arms.  Didn't help my baby hunger at all!!!!

We had a brunch with the Payne family after.  Cam had fun playing basketball in the driveway, and Roo got lots of stair practice in!  Then we headed back up to West Jordan.  Nate's little sister, Megan's, cutie best friend Preston is leaving for the MTC on Wednesday, so his family had a lunch.  Cam got more basketball in...they had a little arcade basketball game that he loved.  Lots more good food too!

Then we headed over to Nate's parent's house for dinner.  We were so stuffed by the end of the day!  Robyn made some yummy Panda chicken that we couldn't stop eating!  We played Boggle and just spent a fun evening laughing at everything.  I love this family!

Mallory came up from California for the weekend.  Cam & Ethan had a blast together.  Best friends.

So our Boutique was a huge success on Saturday.  Our hours of advertising and planning paid off, and it was such a fun day.  We will probably plan another one in the Fall.  All of our vendors asked to come back, so it sounds like they all did well and had fun too.  There was tons of cute stuff there....it took all of my will power I had to not go spend my earnings at everyone else's booths!!  Nate took the day off to be with the kids.  They had fun riding bikes and just being with Daddy for once!

Well I am exhausted.  Last week was so so busy.  I didn't go to sleep before midnight at all last week.  I'm looking forward to just being home this week so I can catch up on my house, laundry, and go relax outside because it's in the 70's this week!  We will be outside if you need us!!

LOVE the new header pic! VERY sweet and awesome script font! And I wish I wasn't so lazy. Maybe I would fix Suzie's little mop head....

Aww, thanks Becca! You're the best!

I wish I could have been there with my family. I haven't even met Preston. Sometimes it's hard being so far away.
Kaiah is so dang cute! I hope I'll be able to see her when we come to Utah in July. Riley and Ryan are already excited to see Cam and Allie! It will be so much fun!
