Monkeys on the Bed

Tonight as I sit here, my children are jumping like monkeys on their beds and screaming at the top of their lungs.  Go to sleep!!  He knows we leave for Glenwood in the morning, so he is extra hyper.  He packed his Thomas the Train duffel bag tonight all by himself.  The kid is surprisingly good at choosing coordinating outfits.  Must be his father's son.  I mean, his daily outfits aren't always completely perfect...but he doesn't emerge from his room in some of the train wreck outfits that I've seen some little kids in!!
They both need new pajamas.  Their current jammies are practically cutting off circulation.  I never realized how incredibly expensive pj's are!  Seriously!!  I want to get Roo a cute girlie nightgown.  And I want to get Cam some flannel pants and plain white tees cuz he's a little stud like that now.  We'll have to see what I can find at good ole Walmart...because ON, TCP, Crazy8, Target, Carters, and even Ebay just aren't delivering like they usually do in the pj department.  Even their sale prices are still more than I am willing to spend. Lame.  Maybe I'll just let them sleep in their birthday suits.  It would sure save us some dough!

Cameron's BFF Logan got a Razor scooter today, so the two of them went crazy with those.  Roo has taken a major liking to the sandbox.  But she's a sand-flinger, so I have to take her out if another kid wants to play.

Happy Memorial Day Weekend!
We're headed out for some much-needed R&R.  And some much-needed 4-wheeling.  Glenwood is good for the soul.
My sister Michelle and nephew Sam are in from New Orleans, so it'll be a fun weekend down south!

LOVE the pink shoes! Allie...you rock!! Try Kohl's for the PJ's. They have good pricing and sales all the time.

I've heard JC Penney has good sale prices. Try Burlington Coat Factory. They have a surprisingly large selection of clothing for decent prices. We recently bought Gwen two nightgowns and a pajama set from Burlington. She loves the nightgowns and tries to convince me they are pretty dresses to wear all day!

Carters had some great deals on nighties when i was in Maine. Do you get their coupons for in store? I always watch Old Navy.....I have a stock pile of them. I've learned that if you want jammies to last invest in good ones, and a little extra space isn't a bad thing.....hope that you have a fun weekend away!!! Chat with you soon....

Isaac will look forward to Cameron's old PJs--:)

We finally transitioned Isaac out of his crib--so far so good. Now for potty training!

And speaking of train wreck outfits, you should see Karen today. Pink, sequined camo capris with a striped polo shirt.

Have fun this weekend!!

Just make a few flannel pants. Seriously easy and you only need a yard of fabric (or less) per pair. That would be $2.00-$6.00 each. Then you would just need some elastic for the waist. You can do it! Ask the seamstresses in the ward for some advice. :)

Allie grows like a weeed (but pretty like a flower) every time you post a picture of her. She is going to be so grown up by the time I make it to Utah... also, Cam.. the blue in his shirt totally brings out his eyes. I bought Jeremy a shirt that color just to make his eyes pop more. I'm lame like that! hahah
