An Exciting Milestone

Cameron learned how to ride a 2-wheeler today!  We are so proud of him.  Nate had the day off work today, so this afternoon, he and Cam headed outside just to play.  A few minutes later, they came back in and Nate went to get his tools.  They announced that Cam wanted to take off his training wheels.  I feel bad because my first reaction was, "Yeah right, he's going to fall over, cry, and beg for them to be put back on."  Oops, bad mommy moment.

So we all headed back outside, and Nate started running with Cam around the sidewalk holding on to his seat.  Within a few minutes, Nate was letting go, and literally 5 minutes after we went outside, Cam was zooming around by himself!  It took about another 10 minutes for him to learn how to push off and start by himself, and about an hour later, he started flying down the hills.  Go Cam Go!!

His buddy Rahul was so excited for him and rode laps with him all afternoon.

Good Job, Cameron!  We love our little stud so much!
