Fun Monday

It was crazy hot yesterday, so the kids got some fun pool time in with their friends in the morning.  Roo is my little fish.  She'll dunk her head under and just splash....not much fear for this little one!  Cam always HATED the water until just recently.

Love the HUGE diaper bums they get!!

Cam jumpin' in.

Then yesterday afternoon, I spent a fun girlie few hours with Laura.  She's in town from Canada, and even though we've grown close via blogging, it was our first time hanging out.  I love this girl!  I've always wanted a younger sibling, and since I don't have one, I just consider Laura as my little sis!  We went to Chili's for lunch, stopped to see Nater boy at his work, and the definite highlight of the day was taking her wedding dress shopping!  She's getting married next summer, so we stopped by this cute, lofty Bridal Boutique.  She tried on lots of dresses and looked gorgeous in all of them!  Her (and my) favorite was a fitted lace dress with a little jacket, she looked amazing in it.  The lady there asked us if we were sisters.  "Practically!"

Oh, and another added bonus about Miss Laura is that she's getting married in Portland, Oregon.  Can you say Road Trip for me??  Oh yeah...I'm so there!

(By the way, I got the lucky job of asking the gay bridal shop receptionist to take our picture, I'm so glad he happily obliged because this was a monumental moment for Laura!!)

Chili's chips & salsa

We also hit DownEast, and then headed back to my place to hang with the kidders.  Cam was super excited to show her his mad bike skills.  We sat outside and relaxed while they played.  It was so much fun to just talk and laugh with her.  She also showed me pictures of her precious preemie twin nieces, and of course we spent hours talking about her fiance, Jeremy, and Nate and marriage.  I love you, Laura!

I ended the day with my weekly Bachelorette girls night at Noelle's.  It's such a painful show to watch, but the conversations and laughs it provides us is just too fun to pass up!

How fun.

I love our crazy blogging world!

And, is there anything better than Chili's chips and salsa? I think not.

Love Chili's chips and salsa...love Alta Moda (that's where I got my dress!) and love the cute pics of your kiddos swimming. Ali and Danielle would be such good friends if we were still there...sigh!
