Those Psychic Monkees...

All through middle school, my best friend Nikki & I were really into Oldies music from the 60's...specifically The Monkees.  Please tell me you know them...."Daydream Believer"??  Anyone??  Classic.  Nikki & I used to blast them in her converted garage; we were so coolOn my recent Oregon trip, Ki & I couldn't help but bust out "Shades of Gray" in the car on the way to the coast.  It was just like old times.

Well, one of my all-time favorite songs by the Monkees is "Last Train to Clarksville."  It was the 2nd song on my flippin' awesome cassette.  Over the past few months, every time Nate & I talk about Clarksville, Tennessee, that song would pop into my head, but I wasn't sure if I was remembering it right.  I didn't think anything of it.  Tonight I finally got around to looking it up on Youtube (my cassette is buried in a box somewhere!), and sure enough....yet another subliminal sign pointing us towards our new destination.

All along....those Monkees!!!  Kinda weird....if you ask me!!
(Listen to Last Train to C-Ville HERE.)

Last night I curled up on my bed with the laptop and a bowl of ice cream and watched "Hannah Montana: The Movie."  Ahem...in my defense, it was filmed and took place in Nashville & Franklin, TN, so I was just doing some "research".  It's a dumb movie.  I don't recommend it.  (But I liked it because I'm really 14.)
In the other room, Nate was zoned out playing Xbox Live.

That's us.  The Wood Fam.  We're so mature.
