Love

This morning Cam and Roo wouldn't stop fighting over their new bowling set.  It wasn't even 8 am yet, and the claws were out.  Then the screaming began, so I threw one kid in the playroom, the other in their bedroom and RAN down the hall and dove into the bathroom and shut the door.  Nate was in there getting dressed, and we both just looked at each other with that "whoah....that's their deal??" expression and then we both just started laughing.

I felt so much better.

A few hours later, I left my chaotic children with their bff Auntie Erica and drove up to the hospital for my delicious 1-hour glucose test.  My hot Nate works in the pharmacy there, just across the lobby from the outpatient lab.  The sugar drink made me feel light-headed and really nauseous.  After the long hour and my blood draw, I got to go smooch and hug my sweetheart, and he found me some snacks so I could make it home okay.

I felt so much better.

Now I'm going to pick up Cameron from school and let my rascals run themselves wild in the great outdoors all afternoon until Daddy comes home to make me smile once again.

I love that man of mine.  He gets me through every single day.

Russell M. Nelson spoke to the men of the Church:  "As fathers we should have love unbounded for the mothers of our children. We should accord to them the gratitude, respect, and praise that they deserve.  Let your thoughts and actions inspire confidence and trust. Let your words be wholesome and your time together be uplifting. Let nothing in life take priority over your wife—neither work, recreation, nor hobby."
