Pretty Roo

With the arrival of this baby getting closer and closer, I've been soaking up Roo being my 'baby' as much as I can.  Sometimes I like to just sit by her and do nothing but just watch her.  She has grown up so much.  I feel like I just gave birth to her, and it blows my mind that she is so big and old now.  She is so beautiful and has the best smile and the prettiest lips and eyes. 

Here are some things we are adoring about Miss Roo lately:

1. She loves to sign.  She is obsessed with watching Signing Time, just like Cam used to be.

2. She is a smart cookie.  She knows all of her colors, letters, shapes, and a lot of numbers.

3. She is artistic.  She loves to sit and color and draw for hours.  (this is great for Church!)  She can even write a few of her letters already.  She also loves to draw apples and rainbows.

4. Her favorite foods are black beans, peas, cheese, grapes, cereal and pasta.

5. This girl has a sweet tooth like you wouldn't believe.

6. She is obsessed with Dora.

7. She takes awesome naps.  Right at noon, she runs into her room and clings to the side of her crib.

8. Every morning she sits patiently at the table waiting for her breakfast, just holding her spoon.  It's really cute.  She usually has some awesome bedhead going on too, so that just makes her look even cuter!

9. She likes to help me put laundry away and empty the dishwasher.

10. She insists on choosing her bow for her hair every day.

11. She is definitely the peacemaker in our home.  She has a temper, but she gets over things and calms down a lot easier than the rest of the family does!!  Her calm demeanor often helps me calm down faster.

12. Sometimes in the mornings if Nate gets her out of bed before I am up, she will come and snuggle up by me and put her arms around me.  I love that.
