On Wednesday afternoon, we headed back north to do fireworks with Nate's family. Nate's dear, sweet Grandma Jaylene passed away on Monday from a sudden heart attack. We will miss her so much. She had a beautiful smile, and nothing made her happier than being with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. It was fun to visit with Gary and Nate's siblings for awhile and hear their memories and funny stories about her. They have planned a wonderful service for Saturday, and even though it will be a sad day, it will definitely be a beautiful celebration of her life.
As usual, here are the pictures:
The wildfire we saw on the way down. So horrible!
The Glenwood parking lot! Bill taught Nate how to change the filters in our van.
Roo found a Dora egg!
Cam found a Spiderman egg!
Glenwood Handprints
Last time we did this, Cam was only 1!
Beautiful Hunter

Roo is petrified of dogs. We did our best to convince her that Daisy is the nicest dog in the world.

So much fun! I can't believe how much Allie looks like Nate in the very last picture. Crazy! I also love those hand/foot prints - such a cute idea.
