The Living Room

This morning, Staci and I went on a hike up to the Living Room.  It's a hike that branches off from the Bonneville Shoreline trail.  Up at the top, there are rocks set up like chairs.  It was a really tough hike!  Really steep uphill the entire way.  I tried to run a little bit, but I couldn't do much.  Coming back down was almost tougher!  But it was a great workout and really, really fun!

At the top, Staci and I sat there for awhile and chatted.  We listened to some music and took in the gorgeous view.  I wanted to stay longer, but it was windy, so we started to chill.  Next time I'll bring gloves and a jacket.  We were on the wrong side of the valley to watch the sun rise, but it was really cool to watch the light spread across the valley.  Beautiful!

Definitely an awesome way to start my day!
