Running Report and Goals

I love using Daily Mile to track my running.  I wish more of my running friends would use it because it's fun to see other people's workouts.  It motivates me.

This morning, I got my 2013 training report.  It's easy to see when my injuries were!  March/April and November/December.  Sad.  But such is the life of a runner!  I'm feeling a lot better.  My hip has been holding out great during my last 3 runs, and that is giving me a lot of hope!  My goal for the year was 500 miles, and I missed it by a measly 27 miles!  Kind of a bummer, but that's okay.


I have had a hard time setting concrete 2014 goals because I have NO idea what our life holds after May. So just in case we leave Utah, I'm cramming the next 5 months FULL of events and runs with my friends.  I have set my mileage goal at 800 for the year, which is a pretty ambitious goal for me!  But I am going to try!

I have also set one other BIG goal for 2014.  More on that soon...

Gain 100lbs?
Run a half marathon backwards?
Eat a year supply of waffles?
Get a three-legged dog (that might be mine)?
Find the Goonies Treasure?
Lord of the Rings marathon?

You are a running machine!! I think that is so awesome!! I hope one day my yearly stats will look like that! you go girl! :)

Thanks, Ashley. But this just goes to show how relative running is because compared to a lot of runners, my numbers are barely a drop in the bucket. Running is so personal, and we each just do our best! :)
