Sprout

I crack up all day when Roo's hair is like this.  I call her Sprout. Or Water Spout.

I didn't write Tuesday...between LOST, Biggest Loser, Idol...and baking chocolate pudding cake...how I love Tuesday nights!! 

Yesterday we were outside allll day.  I have never seen Cam play so hard....for hours and hours, he didn't stop to rest once.  His newest palie is adorable Bella.  They were born the same month, and have become attached at the hip.  She's a cutie tomboy with gorgeous long hair, and the two of them are so fun to watch. 

Today Nate has all day off work and school.  We don't even know what to do with ourselves!!  He's playing with the kids now, they love him so much.  Cam has been waiting all week to ride bikes with Nate.  I've decided that I want a bike too.  Sadly it's not in the budget, but maybe next summer!  Family bike rides are something I grew up doing, and I've always envisioned doing the same with my own family.  My run was good this morning.  We force ourselves to go a few extra feet each day, so hopefully after a few more weeks, we'll be able to run the whole loop.  I've gotten over the initial hurdle of being sore and having to force myself to go.  I enjoy it now, and I actually feel worse when I don't go.  Maybe we'll sign up for some 5K races this summer...

Time to go get ready....Discovery Gateway, baking bread and tortillas (eek!), BBQ with friends, and lots of Daddy time on the list for today.
