Now or Never

So I have been hesitant to try and post about this because there is really no way to describe or capture it unless you see it in person.  And maybe this will be an obnoxious post to read, but I really want to remember this about Cameron, so I'm going to do my best!

Cameron is absolutely obsessed with the basketball song, 'Now or Never' from High School Musical 3.  He has every single detail from the scene memorized and can act it out down to the movement.  He plays it over and over and over, copying it all.  He will literally spend 2 hours straight acting it out, not even stopping to rest.  I'm incredibly sick of the song, but it's pretty stinkin' adorable to watch!!

HERE is the song/scene he loves, if you need an introduction (or reminder)!!

Details he has down:
1. Troy has long, sweaty hair during the game.  Every time Cam comes in from riding his bike, his hair is sweaty from his helmet, so he thinks this is VERY cool because "I'm just like Troy."
2. Troy has a black brace (or bandage) around his leg....Cam usually makes me wrap a sock around his leg every morning (although if he brings me a white sock, it looks like a pantiliner around his leg all day, wonderful.  I promise it's not....)
3. During the locker room part, Troy is wrapping white tape around his fingers.  We've already gone through a whole roll this morning with Cam....it was in our first aid kit, and his face lit up when he saw it.
4. At the VERY beginning of the scene, Troy is staring at the camera, breathing hard, then he turns to look at the scoreboard, and then back at the camera.  Cameron can act this part out perfectly....he knows just when to turn his head.
5. While they warm up, they wear white warm-up jackets.  Cam always puts on his blue hoodie sweatshirt for that scene.

Like I said, it's hard to put all of this into simply words and photographs.  I've tried to catch this on our little camera that has the video feature, but he never cooperates....and our computer won't download those videos anymore, sadly.

I've tried to get him as he's matching each part of the movie.  So check out Cam, and then look at the tv!  We make him use a soccer ball because the one time he used a real basketball, our downstairs neighbors came up and asked what was going on and if we could stop!  Oops!  Someday Cam, we'll have our own place and you can dribble, shoot and play all you want!!

"Let's Gooooo!!!"

He sinks about 80-90% of his shots.  It's pretty impressive!!

We love you, our awesome basketball Cameron!  Keep it up, practice every day, you're gonna be amazing!!

That is the cutest thing ever. Cameron should teach Allie to sing the "Trooooooy" part.

We were scrolling through your blog and Isaac came over for this post and said, "I want to go there." He's said that before!
