Meet Phillip OR Troy...

Cameron's class has 2 pet cockroaches.  They live in a pink box.  The kids get to hold them and look at them with magnifying glasses.  Science, right?

Nasty little (freaking huge) buggers.
I might hurl.

Their names are Phillip & Troy.
(ahem)

Not sure who this is, so I introduce to you, Phillip OR Troy.  We'll never know.

"Mom, they just tickle," Cameron says.  He then tries to shove it in my face, which causes me to shriek and dive across the room.  Yes class, Cameron's mommy is a wimpy little girl.

I. Don't. Do. Bugs.

I swear it's on me.  I feel them all over me....did I bring him home?  Get him off me...!!

Becca Jane, you better know which is which the next time (probably tomorrow) you want to post about these delightful creatures.

I'm counting on it!

You got it Casey. Maybe I'll make them some little nametags for their legs. I'll get right on that...

Good thing you don't live in Australia - cockroaches are commonplace here - no matter how clean you house is! Besides the fact that you will see them on the sidewalks as well...

We had a HUGE one in our house for awhile - we never did catch him or kill him - he name was Mike!! *grin*

Aahh, Heidi, I couldn't do it. I could NOT do it. I wouldn't be able to function every day if those things were in my house or really anywhere!! Seeing them in that pink box every day is enough for me!!!

Nate has a ton of nasty cockroach stories from Korea....I was very blessed because I managed to go my entire 15 months there without seeing one. I probably would have come home early!!

How funny. I have never ever heard of pet cockroaches. Interesting. While I don't fear bugs at all, I have to say that's pretty gross. :)

Hey, where did you live in Oregon? My brother just got transferred to Salem, OR and that sounded familiar to me, so I'm trying to figure out why... I hope you're doing well!
