I wrote out the course and took it with me. Between my sweat and running through glorious sprinklers, it was one nasty piece of paper at the end! I tried to memorize the turns before I left, but by the time I started running the C's, I was too tired to think, so it was nice to just glance at to see where to turn. The C's did end up being the toughest part, where you can see that big hill. This is what I ran up, then back down. It's so much steeper than the picture even shows.
Anyway, by the time I got to the B, I was SO DONE. Miles 8-10 were brutal, but I was determined to finish this run! Nate and the kids were at Liberty Park when I finished. I was NOT very happy with my time/pace on this run, but that's okay.
Yay for my Becca run! A huge thanks to my friend, Dane, for mapping it out for me.
Now...I may or may not have just mapped out a nice 6-mile run that spells "mayer". :)
