Park City Trail 15K

On August 9, I ran the Park City Trail 15K with Sonja, Janet and Marsha.  I ran this race last year, and even though it was really tough, I loved it.  I was excited to run it again!

Sonja, Janet and I met up at my place, and we drove up to Park City.  This race is really small, and I love the cozy, family feel of it.  It's a nice change from the big, crowded races.  Instead of a medal or shirt, you get a glass, which is also a fun little change from the norm.

Sonja is a speedy rockstar, so she took off right away.  Janet was sweet to stay with me.  I didn't do nearly as well as I hoped to, but I also forgot how tough this course is!  SO much uphill, which I'm getting better at, but still far from where I'd like to be.

Either way, I had SO much fun running (and chatting!) with Janet.  I love MY Janet so much!  She is by far one of the biggest blessings that running has brought into my life.

We ate chilled oatmeal at the Bakery afterwards and just talked and laughed nonstop.  It was a really great morning with my girls!
