He Did It Again...Again.

Apparently the big shots who schedule my father's medical meetings in SLC have some sort of power or ability to know when little ole me over here in the student village is going to have a CRAPPY day.  I don't mean crappy, I mean CRAPPY.  So I'm sitting here, exhausted from being sick/pregnant and Roo being sick, and Nate being gone for the past 8 hours with 2 to go, and my kids are whining and bawling because they want to go outside, but they keep fighting with their friends outside and it's almost dinnertime and they want to watch tv, but I banned them from tv because of the whining, and I'm bawling (I'm in the WORST mood ever for a lot of other reasons that I won't mention because I know I'll regret it later on)...and so I say a little prayer for something to make me feel better because I'm feeling all sorry for myself.

You guessed it.

My dad's ringtone starts playing on my phone.

"I'm halfway to Salt Lake on my way to a meeting by your place, can I swing by for a visit?"

Seriously.  What are the chances??

And now the kids and I are all so excited to see Grandpa that all tears have ceased.

(See here for parts 1 & 2).

I hope poor Roo feels better soon (you too!). So nice your dad was able to stop by and cheer you up.

Prayers are always answered and it's usually through someone else. I'm glad you got what you needed. Feel better over there!

That's awesome. And you mean a coconut day, not a crappy day. :) Hope things start looking up.
